Greetings to current and future Taupō Syndicate families!  We are excited about next year with what's in store for our ‘Taupō Bike Camp 2021.’  The camp will take place in week 4 of Term 1 and will be over two nights and three days. Students will be creating their own menus, cooking their own food, pitching their tents, and participating in a range of EOTC activities including performing at a camp concert. After lunch on the second day students will be biking (or walking) up the Rimutaka Incline.

Please fill in the permission form and let us know if you are interested in coming and being a parent helper at your child's camp.  We can't confirm the exact dates for your child until classes are confirmed for 2021. You will see from the dates below that parent helpers attending camp will need to be available for 3 days in week 4 of Term 1, with postponement dates the following week. Please note you will need to commit to being a parent helper for the duration of the camp.  We will let you know by the end of the school year if you have been selected to come on camp.  We will also require assistance with transporting children and bikes to and from the camp, and will need some tents to be supplied. Please indicate on the form if you are able to help in this way.

Postponement Dates:

Week 5 Camp 1: Room 14, 17 & 18 1st - 3rd March 2021
Week 5 Camp 2: Room 15 & 16           3rd - 5th March 2021
                                                               
All student's bikes and helmets will need to be at school on that day to ensure the bikes will be suitable and safe for the Rimutaka Incline ride.

More information about the camp will follow early in Term 1, 2021.
