Dear Parents/Caregivers

As part of our technology unit this term we will be doing some research into local birdlife, their habitats and food requirements to come up with ways to attract birds to our school and the local area.

Part of this will involve a trip to Zealandia where we will have a talk from the staff and a guided walk around Zealandia.

The children will be taking a bus to Zealandia leaving school promptly at 9 am and returning by around 2:30 pm.

We will require some parent help for supervision at Zealandia. Due to a lack of space on the bus we will ask parents to carpool to and from Zealandia.

Wednesday 12th August - Rooms 10 and 11
Thursday 13th August - Rooms 12 and 13

The cost for this trip will be $15 per child. No charge for adults who are helping supervise.

Children will require:
- Waterproof coat/jacket
- Good walking shoes
- Warm clothing
- Drink bottle
- Morning tea and lunch
