- Talk with your parents to set up rules for going online. Decide on the time of day you can be online, the length of time you can be online, and appropriate areas for you to visit.
- Think carefully about what you are writing on the blog - think of who will be reading the blog and if it is appropriate.
- Check with your parents before you download or install software, or do anything that might hurt the computer or invade your family's privacy.
- Help your parents to understand how to have fun and learn cool things online! Teach them about the internet, computers and other technology
